| Hiya lads... I am running a Linux System since the day before yesterday. Until now i was not able to get freelancer running on my system. Be sure that I am trying very hard  I already found some Forums in which this matter is discussed, but so far it did not help me. If ANYONE of u knows Linux, it would be great to receive some tip or something... the game setup does not start with cedega, neither with wine... I am running SuSE Linux 10.1 with KDE Desktop environment, if that helps^^ i would appreciate any answer, hint or tip concerning this. | Dual boot with window$ ?
This game do not works with unix (cause it's micro$oft !).
It works already hardly with vista + antivirus so it would be a miracle to you get it run with unix.
The Void mod have also his own dlls. That mean you'll still have problems with those dlls. |

it is possible to include special dlls (also for the void mod) with dx9wine... I tried this and the game almost runs, got the latest display drivers... etc, but when the game starts i receive nothing than a black screen...
and no^^ i dont have a dual boot with windows... im running linux only
anyway... i will install the game on the PC of my girlfriend, as she doesnt need it very often. | Hi there folks... FINALLY... the game runs! I am now trying to integrate the void mod to my freelancer installation.
